SQL Azure Complaint

2012年5月3日 18:26I've been fiddling around with SQL Azure for about 4 weeks now and I just have to say that it is one of the most annoying things I have had the displeasure of working with. I've been having issues in getting it up and running (I still do now) and Microsoft refuses or is unable to give adequate support in order to help solve the issues that I have. Every time I speak to a "technician", I'm told to visit the forums and also given useless links forcing me to scour the web in hope of an answer. I'm also done with getting it up and running except that I've run into a provisioning error as my on-premises server refuses to sync and I have no idea what to do. I call up Microsoft in order to get help on this issue and even after agreeing to pay their $250 service charge, they still are unable to help. It's sad that it has come down to big companies like Microsoft not giving a damn about the little guy. I guess they see themselves as being too big to fail and because of that, lost sight of what true customer service and good business is like.

I am sorry to hear that you have been having so many difficulties with SQL Azure and our support. It sounds like your main problem is that you are not able to sync your on-premises SQL Server to SQL Azure. I assume that means you are using SQL Azure Data Sync. Is that corect?
Could you give us more details on what the issues is and what provisiong error is that you are getting? If you would prefer or if it is easier, you can email me directly at Liam.Cavanagh AT microsoft DOT com.
Let me know and I will do what I can to help.

Hi,
It is unfortunate that you are experiencing so many issues. However you have come to the right place! The MSDN Forum is perhaps one of the most successful support initiatives run by any corporation in which you will find Microsoft employees, MVPs and other technical users of the platform, all with hands-on experience willing to help at no charge.
Unfortunately from the post provided so far it is unclear what your issues actually are. For example, you say you have issues getting it "up and running". In SQL Azure, it is as simple as pushing a button and providing a database size. So obviously you are having a different problem. Let us help you. Provide a clear description of your issue(s) and we will do our best to help you succeed.
