private cloud application development

Question

Hello,

Our company will create a private cloud quite soon (first quarter of 2011) and they want us (the software guys) to build an application that can be easily deployed within that private cloud. As a software architect, I do like the chalange, but it is very hard to find white papers on developing applications for a private cloud. We plan to use at least ServiceBus, AppFabric, WCF and WF, but we do welcome any advise, especialy on the presentation layer.

Can anyone please tell me where to look for additional information?

I do know that this is not the right location, but I don't know what IS the right location to post this request. Microsoft states that it supports application development in private clouds, but I couldn't find a dedicated forum or some really useful documentation and howto's. Maybe someone can tell me on which forum I should post this request ...

I don't know if there is a dedicated forum to building a Private Cloud, but you might be interested in Microsoft information on this topic posted here:

If you are planning on installing a very large number of servers, you may be interested in the Windows Azure Platform appliance, a solution that can be brought into your location and would act as a private cloud for your company.  There isn't a forum specific to that, but questions about developing for Windows Azure Platform can be posted to the appropriate forums here:
