The SharePoint blog entry, http://blogs.msdn.com/sharepoint/archive/2007/09/05/pre-announcing-the-accessibility-kit-for-sharepoint-aks.aspx, completely omits WSS 3.0, discriminating against thousands of disabled people who need to work with WSS 3.0 intranets, and who deserve equal rights and accessibility just as much as the people who can afford to buy MOSS 2007.

    Thank you, Tom

We are not leaving WSS 3.0 out. While the AKS will focus on the WCM scenarios of MOSS 2007 first, the kit will definitely include components that improve accessibiliity for WSS 3.0. However, it's likely that we will not be able to address every issue or use case, which is why we will release the AKS with full source code and documentation, so SharePoint partners and customers can further extend the kit to address their specific accessibility requirements.

Lawrence Liu left Microsoft ca October 2008. He's not going to reply to your post.

As far as I know he has still no direct replacement (yet?).
