“Copy Code” button does not work in Firefox

Question

There is a known bug that the “Copy Code” button that appears on code samples in the Open Specifications documentation does not copy to the clipboard when viewed in Firefox and other browsers.  “Copy Code” does not show in these browsers by design because the browsers’ default security settings do not allow programmatic clipboard access. The work around is to highlight the text and copy it.
