I used LiveMesh beta, and now, when I connected to Live Framework Azure, I gonna to play and develop my apps.
One of the pre-requisites is to go on https://developer.mesh-ctp.com/Web/Devices.aspx and add new device and install client app.
But I already have my LiveMesh installed from mesh.com
What to do?! I can't install ctp because it says I have another one. I dont want to lost my previous one, because I'm using it everyday

    Mike,

Scott is correct. As of now, CTP client runtime is not compatible with Mesh runtime. They cannot exist side by side and our team is working on it (testing efforts underway).

If you are building Mesh Enabled Web Apps (MEWA) then you can debug and test it on the cloud. The deployment happens on your live desktop.

You will need runtime when your goal is to access local operating environment for offiline capability such as Rich Client Applications.

    Hope this helps,

    Rajan

At the moment it's one or the other, there's no way of having both installed at the same time. The LiveFX guys have said (IIRC) that they will look into this.

Also, you don't need the client installed to test the apps. It just means that you won't be able to try them locally. You can still develop your app and test it in the CTP's Live Desktop.
