App stuck in "Certification Passed" stage?

    Question

  • We've updated our app many, many, times in the past 2 years and normally it goes almost immediately from "Processing Certification" to "Ready to Publish" where it will auto-publish or we can manually publish depending on our setting.

This time, our app has passed cert and is sitting at "Certification Passed" for the past 24 hours.  I can't publish it from this state and it is not moving on.

Has anyone encountered this before?  Is there anything I can do to make it move on?

I've submitted a support ticket but got no response as it is the weekend.

  • Thanks, I do have a support ticket out but haven't gotten a response since yesterday.

Our app is still stuck in "Certification Passed" stage.  There is no option to publish, and I have it set to auto-publish anyway.

  • Hello,

This problem does not seem to be resolved yet.

I am having this same problem with 2 of my Windows Phone games - one has been stuck in "Passed Certification" for a few days and the other since last night.  I've tried to switch to "Manually Publish", but no links/buttons appear on the Lifecycle page allowing me to actually publish it - so I've switched back to Automatically Publish with no luck.  My two app ID's are:

    d0feebfc-5d59-e011-854c-00237de2db9e

    85ba6988-68eb-df11-9264-00237de2db9e

Please look into this & get back to me.

    Thanks,

    Dan

  • The issue has not been fixed, like brandf my app is stuck at "Certification Passed" and there is no option to publish. However I do know another developer who's app was stuck at "Ready to Publish" was able to publish as of this afternoon. I would suggest your engineers check that apps at all stages of the process are able to advance and perhaps kick off a check to automatically advance any that are stuck in one of these states?

  • Hi @Brandf and @Dan Colasanti,

I do see your apps still in a certification passed status.  @Brandf, yours is set to auto publish.  @Dan Colasanti, I see that one of your apps is set to auto publish (App ID d0feebfc-5d59-e011-854c-00237de2db9e) while the other is set to manually publish (App ID 85ba6988-68eb-df11-9264-00237de2db9e).  I'm currently investigating what we need to do to get those Apps published.

@JayTBennett, Can I get your App ID, so I can investigate it as well?

    Thanks!
