CLR ERROR - APPCRASH c0000005

    Question

  • I have a .Net windows application on a 64-bit vista system that runs under all user login's except for one.  The one being the machine's main user.  This implies something to do with the user's profile.   Does anyone know how I can find out why it crashes only when run by one particular user ?

    Thanks.

    Ken.

  • Hi Leena,

VS 2005 and framework 2.  Our network guys figure the user's roaming profile is corrupt (it's over 4GB !). So, they are re-loading his entire system.

Is a tool available to check profiles ?  Or is there a manual method, rather than guessing.

    Thanks.

    Ken.
