    I want to use C# to cut and remove part of video out of the whole video. The video may be mpeg, avi ...

    How could I achieve that? Thank you.

  • Hi!

    To cut and remove part of the video out of the whole video you better use DirectShow technology. Since DirectShow Interfaces are for the use by unmanaged languages only and C# is a managed language I would recommend you use Elecard .NET SDK http://www.elecard.com/products/products-pc/sdk/encoder-.net-sdk/. It has Base Classes, containing wrappers for the DirectShow Classes and Interfaces so that everybody could use them in the managed code, and sample applications.

    The Elecard .NET SDK package comprises the Elecard XMuxer Engine which allows editing video and would help you to accomplish your task as well.
