A problem when using data market in windows store app

    Question

  • Always meet this problem:

    Additional information: There is a type mismatch between the client and the service. Type 'xxxxxxx' is not an entity type, but the type in the response payload represents an entity type. Please ensure that types defined on the client match the data model of the service, or update the service reference on the client.

    If there is a handler for this exception, the program may be safely continued.

    Has anyone met it before?

  • Which service are you using? Does it work in a desktop .NET client? If you ignore this error (as pointed out in the error message itself), does the scenario work? If you consume your own OData service instead of a service from Data Market, does it work?

    Base on my experience, when we use the data in data market, we need write a class to implement "System.Data.Services.Client.DataServiceContext". And you could download the C# class library from datamarket.Like this image:

    Also, you could custom this class,please refer to this link:
