  • Hi,

There are various ways to check the service is up:

    1. Check on the azure management portal, whether the status of the service is “Ready”. If you find the status keeps on changing to busy, failed or ready often, your service has some issues.
    2. Click on the DNS name in which the service is hosted and check whether it is running fine.
    3. Enable RDP and take the remote of the machine and check for parameters that will ensure that the application is running fine. Check link to know more about RDP : http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windowsazure/gg443832.aspx
    4. You can also use Azure diagnostics and log errors. Check the following link to know about Azure diagnostics : http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/ff714589.aspx
