Pricing for Windows Azure Mobile services

    Question

  • WE are planning to use the Windows Azure mobile service after evaluating the free tier. But the pricing structure is not clear on the package "Standard".

It says "$25 / month  per unit" which I don't understand. What is meant by unit? Is it mobile apps? means ever mobile app instance we have we need to pay $25?

Hope someone would be able to clear my doubt, which I couldn't  clear last 2 days after searching over and over again in Google.

    Regards,

    Mayu

Base on my experience, it is not the mobile apps. When we use API call and scheduled jobs or other mobile service function , "Unit" may handle the data and dispatch jobs. If we have more data or call and so on, we may need more "Unit". Always, we create one mobile service, we have used one "unit". I think unit's function is similar to instance function.

    Hope it helps.

    Thanks
