We are in a process to migrate an ASP.Net application to Azure. The application runs fine on Dev Fabric but when we deploy it on the cloud the reponse time is very slow and we also occasionally get "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" errors.
Enabled the remote destop connection to this webrole in the cloud. Running the application even locally on the RDP machine is very slow. Tried to analyse the IIS logs and didn't find any helpful information. Let me also reiterate that when I run this application on Dev Fabric its not slow at all. Would appreciate any suggestion. Thanks!
Can you share the environment details of the app?
ASP.NET MVC/WebForm version?
How many role instances?
Which Logging framework used?
Is the web role using SQL Azure or Azure Storage?
