I have been writing large enterprise applications (Sometimes 8 screens (views) with 200+ data elements) for about 10 years. My users have alway liked it when I group elements and put a border or legend around things that go together with labels stating what the group is. All examples of WinRT dev have fewer than 10 elements on the screen. I am trying to apply this paradigm to what my user requirements are and am coming up short especially with the idea that there are no borders around common fields. I think that usability will be reduced if I follow these standards.
