My app essentially consists of a list on the left and a map on the right. What is the recommendation for the map's margins? I could 'use every pixel' and fill the right half of the screen (content is king) but the metro guidelines
suggest that the map should fall within the 'content' space, i.e. 140 from the top, 50 from the bottom and no guidance on the right.
I have to say that I find that there is a conflict between the notion of chromeless design that emphasizes content and the application of the grid layout which wastes tons of pixels with margin. Looks like white space is the new 'chrome.'
