Unable to uninstall visual studio 2012 - Getting an exception thrown?

    Question

  • Hey guys,

I'm totally screwed, hopeless and desperate for help! - Please see my question in SO:
(Sorry I am not able to post links, I don't know why you guys even have this policy - But if you just google "Unable to uninstall visual studio 2012 - Getting an exception thrown?" the first result will be my question in Stack overflow by me "vexe")

(Please visit the SO link for the full details)

Basically what happened is, I wanted to install visual studio 2013 - Before that I thought it's best to uninstall VS2012 first - Before I made the uninstallation, I went ahead removed some components that I don't use in VS (MySQL, ASP.NET, etc) - And now I can't uninstall/repair VS2012 - and also can't install VS2013!

What can I do? How can I uninstall VS2012 now and install VS2013? - If I can't uninstall, can I repair it somehow, and maybe then try to uninstall?

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
