ToolStrip control - can it be made taller - increase height for larger .png images?

    Question

  • Is that possible? Like in Word 2003 (and I think 2007 has followed with larger tool bar items)

    The .png images are just too small too see at the standard height of 25.

    I would like to make the images larger so they are actually readable.

    I increased the height to 40 and set stretch to true but it doesn't get any larger?

    Is this possible?

    Are there any other properties I am not aware of?

    The following code does not throw any exception...but the toolstrip default height of 25 does NOT change when assigned the value of the container it resides on, which is 40.

    Me.ToolStripPostProcessTools.Top = Me.PanelToolStrip.Top

    Me.ToolStripPostProcessTools.Height = Me.PanelToolStrip.Height  'where the panel container is 40 high

    Thank you,

    -Greg

  • Increase the ToolStrip's ImageScalingSize property from the default 16x16.  If you already have images on the ToolStrip, temporarily add a new button to force the new setting to take effect.
