  • It's still some kind of security error, so a setup forum isn't very relevant.

I believe Error 1001 is something that results from failures in custom action code, so if you are running a custom action what is it trying to do? You have code that tries to contact another system?

  • Hi,

I checked remote system its member of my domain i removed it an add it again but its not working please help.....................

Why do you want to install the your product remotely?

Why not let the user download it and install it from local?

Can you install other software remotely with same setting?

You might can try the following link,http://support.microsoft.com/kb/816102

  • This forum supports .NET Framework installation and setup.

For best answers to your application deployment question, please ask in the forum dedicated to that topic:

  • Hi Rohit,

I think this is not a setup issue but a network issue.

Is the remote machine a member of your domain?

If not, please add it in the domain, restart the machine and log in as a domain user.

Otherwise, please try rejoin the domain, see

Please let me know the result.
