Any way to disallow cookies in webBrowser control?

  • Hello everybody!

    I need a way to disallow read/write cookies in webBrowser control inside my appication. Any way to do it?

  • To block Cookies in WebBrowser control you can take the following steps, in fact, it's the same as to block Cookies in IE.

    1. Choose "Internet Options" under the "Tools" menu on the IE;
    2. Select the "Privacy" tab.
    3. Click the "Advanced..." button in the "Settings" groupbox.
    4. Check the "Override automatic cookie handling" option.
    5. Check both "Block" options.
    6. Click "OK"

    Your solution disable cookies in every IE window, but I need to disable them only in webBrowser control inside my application. I'm still try to solve that problem. Best regards!

  • Since WebBrowser just uses Internet Explorer, it should use the security settings as configured by the user.
