formatting question

    Soru

  • We had a developer who formatted our pages with the result looking like this.

    <cc1:LabelTextbox id="organization" runat="server" required="true" label="Organization"

        fieldname="organization" useClearDiv="true" />

    Is there a way to get the formatting back to how we would like it, see below. Thanks

    <cc1:LabelTextbox

        id="organization"
        runat="server"
        required="true"
        label="Organization"
        fieldname="organization"
        useClearDiv="true"
    />

  • Hi jlschumann, please try the following steps below.

    1. Open up the particular .aspx page that you want to format.
    2. View the HTML source of the page by clicking "Source".
    3. Right-click any part of the page, and click "Formatting and Validation".
    4. Look for the "Tag wrapping" group box.
    5. Tick "Wrap tags when exceeding specified length" if it is not ticked.
    6. You can specify a custom tag length of when you want the code to be wrapped in the "Length" textbox. You can try specifying the length value of "1" to play with the formatting.
    7. Once done, click the "Ok" button.
    8. To see the new changes to your code, select the particular tag you want to test the new format out and then hold down the CTRL button, followed by the K button and then D button.

    Hope this helps!
