  • Hi Roynlois,

    Welcome to the MSDN forum.

First, please use the .NET Framework Setup Verification Tool MVP mentioned to detect whether you have installed .NET Framework 2.0 SP2.

Second, could you please let me know your OS and Service Pack level?

    When did this message occur?

Third, for Windows 7, .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 is embedded as a system component. If it failed to be verified, I recommend you try to repair it by the steps: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/astebner/archive/2007/03/26/how-to-repair-the-net-framework-2-0-and-3-0-on-windows-vista.aspx

If .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 has not been installed after verification, I recommend you download .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 which will automatically install .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 and .NET Framework 3.0 SP2.

    .NET Framework 3.5 SP1: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=25150

If .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 has been installed successfully after verification, this problem is caused by the application which asked for .NET Framework 2.0 SP2.

If you have any other concerns, please feel free to let me know.

    Best Regards,
