Assembly in Visual Studio 2010 Express

  • Dear Microsoft Programmers

    would like to know if there is support for MASM

    or Assembly in Visual Studio 2010 C++ Express

    and Guide my for using it pleas

  • There is some limited support insofar that you can display the generated assembly code for your C/C++ program. If that is what you are after, check out Configuration Properties, C/C++, Output Files, Assembler Output options: /FAc, /FAs, /FAcs.

    However if you want to write assembly code, then you can certainly use the Visual Studio extensibility features to incorporate a third party assembler. Just Bing/Google for "visual studio extensibility" and you will have lots of hits.
