3500 Code Samples at Developers’ Fingertips – Introducing the New Sample Browser

  • The Microsoft All-In-One Code Framework Sample Browser has expanded to give developers access to more than 3,500 code samples from across Microsoft products.   Nearly 1000 customer-driven All-In-One Code Framework samples, more than 480 official Windows 8 Beta Metro Style samples, over 600 ASP.NET, Silverlight, Windows Azure, WP7 samples are all at your fingertips.   You can download and install the Sample Browser from the following link, and enjoy the new sample search, download, management experience, and more.

    What’s Next

    The team is spending effort on making the Sample Browser open-source.  Please stay tuned and wait for further updates.

    Additionally, the All-In-One Code Framework team is working on the Visual Studio extension version of the Sample Browser, so that developers can search and download samples from within the development environment.

    The Sample Browser will support offline search and local languages in future releases as well.
