Declaration Expected BUG

    Question

  • I recently have created two projects and upon doing so, adding a ListBox control, and trying to type "Listbo..." into the code view I get no help from intellisense. The only thing that pops up is a list of initial possibilities like "Dim, Sub, #const, #if, #region, etc". ListBox1 is not included in there.

    Also when I complete the line of test code:

    ListBox1.Visible = False
    I receive an error: DECLARATION EXPECTED

    I'm thinking this may be a bug; any help please?

    Hi,

    i guess that you tried to type the line of code outside of a method.
    Outside of a method you can`t do this.

  • Thank you so much. I can't believe I made such a mistake. I was using someone elses source code for copy and paste, and must have gotten mixed up. Thanks again.
