WCF templates provides several templates available to help you to be more productive with WCF, and it is very fast
to create a simple WCF application if you use WCF templates, it will auto generate a simple WCF service and config
file, and you don't need to add WCF service reference assembly manually, WCF templates contain many templates for
different application, for example, for library application, you can use WCF service library, and for web site
application, you can choose WCF Service, and as for Workflow service, you can use State Machine Workflow Service
Library or Sequential Workflow Service Library, for more about this, please refer to the following article.
If you want to host a WCF service library in IIS, first you need to create your service library project and code up
your service, second create an svc file in the project, third add a configuration file to your project and name it
web.config, and last create a new application in IIS and point it at the folder contains your project files, make
sure your project is building to the bind folder and not bin/debug or bin/ release. you can check this article.
If you want to consume WCF REST service with JSON data type, then you can use Jquery to call REST and set its data
type as JSON, for about this, check this article.
