Report Screen Layout Design

    Question

  • Hi, i am in the process designing the screen of a report form.

I would like to have the Report selection (button, search criteria) on the left hand side and crystal report on the right hand side of the form.

    My idea is such that:

Report Selection take up 30% of the screen and Crystal Report  take up 70% of the screen.

User are able to view the crystal report immediately after they have filled in all the search criteria and press the OK button.

My purpose of doing this is to avoid to have another pop up for crystal report.

Is it possible to do so in VB.NET?

Does anyone has idea how to do it?

    HELP PLEASE !!

  • It's a long time ago, but i think it would be no problem to put a crystal report report viewer control on a form, next to some controls that supply some criteria.
