How to reset error codes?

    Question

  • My program often crashes on a call to

        int i = DoPreparePrinting(pInfo);

    but not always.  I think it is caused by an unhandled exception deep inside the code, perhaps in the Fortran section.  But everything else works, so any errors are not serious.  And I don't know what they are anyway.

    This only crashes in the release version, not in the debug -- so I can't debug it.

    Is there a simple way I can reset all error flags to normal before I call this?  That might work.

  • Hi,

    If you are working with Visual Studio, we can control whether the exception is thrown during running through coding, but there is no settings to set the errors to normal.

    You could submit this feature request:

    http://visualstudio.uservoice.com/forums/121579-visual-studio

    The Visual Studio product team is listening to user voice there. You can send your ideas/suggestions there and people can vote.

    Thanks for your understanding.

    Best regards,
