Control Template for DocumentViewer?

    Question

  • I'm attempting to style the WPF DocumentViewer control ... I have most of the style worked out in control templates, however there's one piece of this control that I can't seem to modify - the search bar.  I can place the search bar wherever i want in my template, but can't figure out a way to attach a style to it.  The xaml I'm using to include it in my template is as follows:

    <ContentControl Grid.Row="2" x:Name="PART_FindToolBarHost" />

    Any ideas on how to style the search bar?

  • As far as I know, the "FindToolBar" is implemented as a UserControl, and it's hardcoded. You should be able to replicate and style it as long as you expose the same element tree with the same naming convention inside your own "FindToolbar" implementation.

    Hope this helps
