I am having a problem with working out how to open a very basic .cpp file. I am new to all of this and have looked through the documentation to no avail. Lets say I want to create the following:
std::cout << "Hello World\n";
How would I go about opening up the program and putting it into a file? Do I make a project? If so, what type? Do I make a file? However when making a file there is no option to "Build Solution".
Any help is fully appreciated.
You need to create a win32 empty project. Then add your file there and compile it.
