  • Hi Kyronfelinus,

    Welcome to the MSDN forum.

As far as I see, most plugins for Android devices are in Java. This could be done if we find some plugins in .NET. I’d suggest you go to Android website (http://developer.android.com/index.html) and check if there’re plugins for .NET.  To send messages, you may need some plugins for .NET like SmsManager . As for reading messages, all messages stored in a specific location in a database format (/data/data/com.android.providers.telephony/databases/mmssms.db), you can read them via DB viewer or use some plugins. Here is an example in Java. I’m not an Android developer, so I can’t help much.

I hope this will be helpful.

    Best regards,

  • Perhaps you can do it in Visual Basic, but first you need to find out what it is that you are trying to do.  My guess is that you are trying to communicate with an API provided by the phone manufacturer, but it is possible that you are trying to interact directly with a USB or COM port, or indirectly with a port driver.

Whatever, this is not the place to find that out.  You need to use the manufcturer's www site, or a specialist site where this sort of communication is handled.  Once you know what it is that you need to do, you can ask for asistance here with the VB code needed to do it.
