I recently submitted my app to the windows store. It sat at the Content Compliance phase for 10 days and then I got a message that it did not comply with 1.1. My best guess was that I deployed to markets that were inappropriate for my English only app. There was a handy link to edit the submission so I did and changed it to simply US and UK markets. Very nice, easy, and sensible. I could not resubmit though...it required me to upload the package again so I uploaded the very same package (not changed since the original submission date and time) and got a validation error:
"This package wasn't built for the current version of Windows..."
Since then, I've tried creating the package again having installed Windows 8 updates and Visual Studio updates; however, I just keep getting that error. I'm thinking perhaps a new release is just about to come out but can't find any news of that.
Has anyone seen this or does anyone have any ideas of things to try?

We have seen this, and have a couple others who saw it too. No ideas yet.
