The Federation Service encountered an error while retrieving the federation metadata document

Hello All,

I am getting following warning in event viewer and because of that some tiem user is not authenticate.

he Federation Service encountered an error while retrieving the federation metadata document from 'https://MyNamespace.accesscontrol.windows.net//FederationMetadata//2007-06//FederationMetadata.xml'. The monitoring for the following trusts failed:

Relying parties:
NameSpace

Additional Data

Exception details:
The remote name could not be resolved: 'MyNameSpace.accesscontrol.windows.net'

Additional details:

User Action
Make sure federation metadata URL is accessible.

I did DNS flush but still I am getting this warning.

Hi.

Did you copy a FederationMetadata.xml link from Application Integration section on ACS Administrator Portal? So much "//" seems like an error.

Hi,

I am configuring Relying party programatically becasue of that '//' is there.

But I don't see any issue there becasue other site with the same url is working fine.
