Can anyone point me to the Unicode values for the icons in Segoe UI Symbol?
I saw Tim Heuer's talks at //build where he showed the font for appbar.

You can use the Character Map app that's included with Windows to look through them all and get the Unicode values.

Thanks, completely forgot about that. I didn't want to have to install Office just so I could use the insert function in word.

Note that charmap.exe does not show all of the characters in the font. For example many of the emoji in the font do not show up. Office insert symbol is a better option.

Some may find the BabelMap tool useful, as it supports Unicode 6.1. It is free and fully functional for personal or commercial use.Note that charmap.exe does not show all of the characters in the font. For example many of the emoji in the font do not show up. Office insert symbol is a better option.

I created a master CSS file with named icons based on the names from the Dev Center article. Feel free to use for your Windows 8 apps.
