VS2010 "View History" - open in same tab

I'm using VS2010 and TFS. Back in Visual Studio 2008, if I right-clicked a file and hit "View History", it would open the history in a docked tab at the bottom. Subsequent "View History" requests would refresh that same tab with the new request.
In VS2010, it seems to open a new tab every time I click "View History", regardless of whether I have the History tab docked.
Is there a way to have the History tab do what it did back in VS2008, where it is docked at the bottom and all "View History" requests refresh in that tab?
Thanks!

Hi RWallace Argo,
Welcome to the MSDN forum.
In the 2010 release, we wanted to allow the user to have multiple, large History windows open simultaneously. To do this, we hosted History inside a document view, which also has the ability to be docked. The tradeoff is that because History is no longer a tool window, it cannot be single instance and cannot be re-used.
For a future release we're considering adding an option to allow History to be in either single or multi-instance mode, which would give users the option for the behavior they prefer.
Best regards,

Thanks for the response. Can I put in a "yes" vote for the option in a future version? :)
Thanks,
