How can I resume an "In Progress" test case without losing my step comments and progress
-
26 Mayıs 2011 Perşembe 18:41If I start executing a test case in the Test tab, I may need to put the test case into "in progress" for multiple reasons including functionality is not 100% delivered, or I don't have time to finish it or I have environmental issues to resolve to continue... If I press the "return to test center" it puts the test case "In Progress" and I need to be able to resume and not lose the info I have already put into the test run. How can I do this?

10 Haziran 2011 Cuma 20:16I did discover this now but I have an associated problem. If I access a test case and return to the test center and my test case is "in progress", if I try to run a different test case, that "in progress" test case is either moved to "passed" or "failed".

21 Mart 2012 Çarşamba 19:25I'm wondering if this has been reported to Microsoft and hoping there is an update/patch for this bug. It would really be helpful to be able to save and close a running test and resume to it at a later time without it failing. Anyone know about the status of this?

Hi,
If you are talking about the ability to pause a session in test runner and then resume it even after restart, etc. please vote for it at
Thanks
