Powerpivot wont launch after crash!

Question

Hi All,

 

I have a problem, I had a crash in excel when using powerpivot (which seems to be all too common, slow computer however) but now when i launch excel powerpivot no longer loads.

I enabled the Developer Tab and it is list under Add-ins, when i check the box and click ok it still doesnt launch and if i go back in the box has become unselected.

I tried doing a repair install on Powerpivot still no go.

I did a full uninstall and re-install on Powerpivot still no go.

Any ideas?

Hi,

 

I figured it out, in case anyone else gets the same problem Go To:

• File
• Options
• Add-ins
• Select Disabled Add-In's
• Select Powerpivot and Click Enable (Went here because Excel crashed while running it)
• Go Back to Add-in's in Options and select COM Add-in's
• Place check beside Powerpivot and click ok.
• It should load.
