Visual Studio 2011 Beta is missing Test menu

Question

Hi,

I can't find Test menu in VS2011 Beta VPC. I did reset VS 2011 settings both through tools option and command.

I even installed VS2011 on separate machine, still the same problem.

It would be of great help if you can get any workaround for this.

May I ask some questions? Does “VPC” here means “Virtual PC”? What’s your system type? What’s your Visual Studio 11 beta type?(Ultimate or some else).

I need more information to reproduce your issue.

Dear Barry,

I am using Pre-configured VS2011 Beta Virtual machine on Hyper-v provided by Microsoft (http://blogs.msdn.com/b/briankel/archive/2012/02/29/visual-studio-11-alm-virtual-machine-and-hands-on-labs-demo-scripts-updated-for-beta.aspx).

Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard 64-bit OS

Hi Nagaraj,

Sorry for missed track with your case. I'm trying to reproduce your issue but I was limited by some hardware restriction.

Could I ask some question about this issue, does the test menu you mean is "unit test"?

 What is your  Visual Studio 11 edition?

Hi Barry,

Sorry for the delayed response.

I am using VS2011 Beta Ultimate Edition. No I am not referring to Unit test menu, I am referring to "Test Menu" which was there in VS2010 & VS 2008 which can be used to create any test types available with Ultimate Edition.
