Hi I found this tool for TFS 2008: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/vstudio/bb980951.aspx
Is there a version of this for 2010?
What I am trying to accomplish is to add functionality to the Team Web Access webpages so that a user can click a button on a specific workitem page and receive alerts via email anytime that workitem is changed. Also, I would like to add an item to the context menu drop down next to each workitem in the result sets of queries that would also let them set an alert.
If anyone has any idea how to accomplish this or can point me in the right direction, I would be forever in your debt.
Thanks,
Aaron

Hi,
In TFS2010, Webaccess is not available as a separate download component, it has been included as part of TFS product itself.
If you have TFS2010 running, you can access this : http://<ServerName>:8080/tfs/web

What you are looking for (Team System Web Access) is now the web application tier in Team Foundation Server 2010 and is called Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Team Web Access. It is usually installed automatically when installing Team Foundation Server 2010. It should be found on the same server as TFS. The default path for this application is 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Team Foundation Server 2010\Application Tier\Web Access\Web'.
As Jehan said, you can reach it at http://<servername>:8080/tfs/web where <servername> is the name of the server it is installed on, usually your TFS server. On a local install, you can just use localhost as your server name.

18 เมษายน 2555 22:26As per my understanding, Aaron seems to have access to the web access piece as stated above but he wants to add some additional features so that he can do additional things with the workitems. I cannot see the option to integrate the workitems to Excel or Outlook as you can through Visual studio. Is it even possible with TFS 2010 Web Access? Are there any add on power tools available to add this functionality to the Web Access?

Can you elaborate what you are trying to do using Team Web Access 2010, especially Excel and Outlook integration part?
Thanks
