The “Steps to Reproduce” attachments are targeted for the developers/technicians who will be solving the issues involved.

Question

In Microsoft Test Manager we create Bug work items and the "Steps to Reproduce" field of the Bugs are automatically filled in with useful information including attachments. I can access these links from the "Steps to Reproduce" field of the work item in Visual Studio. However in Team Web Access I'm able to see these attachments BUT I cannot then view the attachments/links in the "Steps to Reproduce" field.  Is this restriction on purpose to make it only available to Visual Studio users? Or is there some fix? And if its on purpose is there any plan to make it available to Team Web Access users?  

Just a quick FYI that my user account has full admin authority as a farm/TPC administrator so this is not a permissions issue.

The url of Attachment in Repro Steps likes vstfs:///TestManagement/TcmResultAttachment/XXX, vstfs:/// is defined by TFS, and can just be open in VS, cannot open the url in IE.

If you want to open this attachments url in IE, I suggest you submit a feedback to Visual Studio UserVoice site. Microsoft engineers will evaluate them seriously. It will be also very beneficial for other community members who having the similar requirement.
