PowerPivot for Excel 2010 v1 and SQL Server 2012 PowerPivot for Excel 2010 RC0

Question

Hi,

is it possible to have PowerPivot for Excel 2010 v1 and SQL Server 2012 PowerPivot for Excel 2010 RC0 both on the same machine?

Hi, the PowerPivot for SQL Server 2012 RC0 updates the old version and so I cannot mantain also the PowerPivot for SQL Server 2008 R2 on the same machine.

Hi Pscorca,

You cannot keep the both version of PowerPivot just like SQL Server, if you install SQL Server 2012 RC0 PowerPivot for Excel, the older verion of workbook will be upgrade to the newer version automatically. Thanks for your understanding.

Hi Challen, your right reply has been posted after I've solved the issue and so I've reported the result of my proof. So I've discovered that I cannot keep on the same machine the PowerPivot v1 and v2 versions both.

It seems that it is correct to mark my feedback.
