Error 1418

Question

Hello,

              I try to configure database mirroring between sql server 2008R2(principal) and 2012(mirror). After all setting up principal,mirror and witness, just before starting mirroring I got following warning

And when I pressed YES then following error occurred

After searching various sources I tried;

1. Once again I restored log back up.

2. I dropped and recreated both principal and mirror

3. I turned off firewall

But still I can't resolve this issue. It would be very helpful for me, if anybody could give  suggestions thanks.

Can you ping WIN-I255O74SJET from the primary? This seems not to be a SQL issue but a DNS problem...

Check my blog for Mirroring in simple Steps,

replace the Server name with IP, refermy blog

when mirror configuring is completed, click on donot start mirrroring, change the server name with IP addresses of principle and mirrored server IP
