Report Action Parameter

Question

hi,

i am new to SSAS Action and unable to find the way to pass parameter in Report Action. actually what i am passing is  "UrlEscapeFragment([Dim Product].[Product Subcategory Key].CurrentMember.UniqueName)"

it just  cpy paste this string with changing my Dim name and  level but i dont have any idea of MDX. nw in Browser when i click my reporting Action it nevigate me to ssrs but then error occures and say [All] is string so not allowed.

Nw please let me know what this CurrentMember.UniqueName is doing exactly and 

why its not running in my case

Hi There

I think what is happening you are passing a string value to your report and your report is expecting non string value or a code value. Can you please put this instead and see if it works for you

UrlEscapeFragment([Dim Product].[Product Subcategory Key].CurrentMember.Properties("Key"))

In the condition pane of report action of SSAS what you could do you can put condition like

[Dim Product].[Product Subcategory Key].CurrentMember <>

([Dim Product].[Product Subcategory Key].CurrentMember.[All]

this will prevent to pass all member to the reporting services side and pass only the individual product Subcategory values
