BDC Filters are not appearing in External List

Question

Hi All

I created an External Content Type with filers using sharepoint desinger 2010 and imported into central admin. After that i created a external list and selected the the BCS instance. But it is not showing any data and filter option. In the site it is displaying only the column values of the external content type. So can anyone help me on this. How to display data and fiters.

Hi Kishore,

That is correct. If you want to change filter value in the External List you should go to "List" tab on the ribbon->"Modify View"->Scroll down to the "Data Source Filters" section->Enter the values for your filters->Click "OK"

Take a look at my example with one wildcard filter for the "CompanyName" column in the ECT.
