Is it possible to have a Drop Down List box wtih both a list displayed and manual entry allowed?

Hi

Is it possible to have a dropdown list box control (InfoPath 2010 for Sharepoint Server 2010) that displays data from an external source and allows users to add data if they do not see what they want in the list?

If not they I am thinking I will add a field to allow users to insert new data next to the ddlb.

Any suggestions?

If you are using InfoPath Client Application then you can add Combo Box Control Which has the feature of Dropdown+TextBox.

We are a MAC environment so we cannot use IngoPath Filler.  Is there another solution?

Hi Dora ,

I think the function you are look for will work with a multiple-selection list box .This control will allow get values form an external source and also allow users to enter custom values .
