Answered SharePoint Designer: Concatenate Workflow string variables

End Goal: The workflow creates a new List Item with the Title (or other column value) set to a concatenation of the Workflow's string variables.

I have been trying to set this up with the String Builder, but I can't figure out how to reference a variable from the String Builder. It seems like this should be an easy thing to do, as you can select the field from the Lookup dialogue.

Is there any definitive documentation on the syntax for SharePoint 2010 Workflows?

    Hi dan,

There is no syntax limit in string builder. Please use it just like we are in Notepad, typing the characters directly and add a lookup when you need to get a value from SharePoint list or workflow variable.

    Thanks & Regards,
