Can Custom Action Autostart when Clicked?

I have developed a few workflows that are manually started, and custom actions to kick them off. When I start them, they take me to a page where I have to click start (or cancel). Can this be bypassed? The user just wants to click the custom action and have it run.

Hi Corey,
As I understand, you want the workflow auto start when you add or change item in the list, am I right?
Then, why did not you set the workflow as “Automatically start this workflow when a new item is created” or “Automatically start this workflow whenever an item is changed” ?
Share your views.

You can try to start the workflow using JavaScript in the Ribbon Control.
Here is a demo:
