IE8 - SHOCKWAVE FLASH BUTTON

Question

Why isn't there a Flash button available for say next to the Refresh Button? Why does it require six steps to start flash, and why is it different to IE6 which automatically reloaded the web page when it was changed to run?

I think your issue should be raised in the http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/ie. I believe they will know more information of this issue than us, and I will move this one to off-topic, Please open a new thread in that forum.

IE does not ship with shockwave flash, so it is pointless to add something that does not work. Adobe wrote the Flash player ActiveX. if you want adobe to change the appearence of the player, visit the flash player forum on forums.adobe.com.
