TFS 2012 and Legacy Team Build Compatibility

Is Team Foundation Server 2012 backward compatible with team build 2010? If so, does anyone know of any potential problems to look out for?
I'm all for using the latest & greatest when it comes to new development, but I'd prefer to leave my existing build configuration alone. The code was written in VS 2010 and the libraries are set in stone. The product has been released and it's stable. Basically, I don't want my build agents touched at all. If a customer finds a bug 6 months from now, I want to know that I have a properly configured machine that can build everything the same way it did 6 months ago.
Last time around (2008 to 2010) was nothing but trouble. I understand that there were huge changes. I can't really complain, since a lot of those changes helped me directly. This time around though, I figure it's a good idea to ask.
Thanks in advance!

Hi Jonathan,
Thanks for your post!
I have tried to configure my Team Build 2010 with TFS 2012, but failed. I performed as follows:
- Open TFS 2010 Administration Console, select Build Configruation.click Stop to stop the Build Service.
- Click Properties to open the Build Service Properties dialog, in the Communications, click Browse button under the Connect to Team Project Collection(outgoing)
- Click Servers button, Add the TFS 2012 server name.
- Click Start button in the Build Service Properties dialog.
- Then I got the the error which said I cnanot register Team Foundation Build Service: Upgrade your build machine to Team Foundation Server 11 and try again.
So, I think TFS 2012 cannot compatibility with Team Foundation Build 2010, you need upgrade Team Foundation Build 2010 to Team Foundation Build 2012.
Hope it helps!
