I have a dialog with several CComobBoxs on it. When a user changes the selction of any of them I want a notification. But, I don't want to create a message handler for each combobox since the functionality will be basically the same for all.
So, I would simply like the message to identify the control. However, the ON_CBN_SELCHANGE macro only accepts a parameterless function so once my command handler method is called I don't know which combobox called it. How can I receive the WM_COMMAND
with the CBN_SELCHANGE ID along with the control that caused the event? In .NET, the selection change event comes with the event args that will identify the sender. I am trying to duplicate this behavior in my MFC app.
