  • Hi rahul2009,

The Excel that is exported from the Reporting Service will with the gridlines if the textbox with gridlines. In other words, the Excel will be exported without the gridlines if the textbox without gridlines

Hence, if you want to export the report to excel without gridlines, you can use a parameter to set the property “BorderStyle” of the textbox before exporting.

    1.       Add a parameter in the report, let say WithGridlines.

    2.       Select all the textboxes.

    3.       In the Properties panel, set the property “BorderStyle” to be expression as:

    =IIF(Parameters!WithGridlines.Value = True, "<Style>", "None")

    4.       Before exporting to Excel, set the parameter “WithGridlines” to False.

Now, you should export the report without Gridlines.

If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask.

    Thanks,
