how to open report in report builder(microsoft SQL report service) using programatically using asp.net

  • Hi,

    I want to open .rdl report in report builder which is installed with Microsoft SQL report serverprogramatically using asp.net.

     

    For ex: i fill dropdown of all reports on report server. there is one edit button to open selected report in SQl report builder. i have tried lot with report service webservice but no success :(

     is there any one who help me with this issue.

    In the ASP.net application, we can start the Report Builder by using a URL.

    ·         Report Builder 1.0

    http://<servername>/reportserver/reportbuilder/reportbuilder.application

    ·         Report Builder 2.0

    http://<servername>/reportserver/reportbuilder/reportbuilder_2_0_0_0.application

    ·         Report Builder 3.0

    http://<servername>/reportserver/reportbuilder/reportbuilder_3_0_0_0.application

    To automatically open a specific report, we can use the following to the URL:
    http://<servername>/reportserver/reportbuilder/reportbuilder_3_0_0_0.application?/foldername/reportname
